Terms of Service

The delicate print of our boutique.

"By visiting our site and placing an order, you agree to the terms below."

Who We Are

Liora is an online shop operated from France by Ilona Darney. These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the Liora website (including all of its "aesthetic" collections and sub-pages) and your purchase of any product through it. For any questions about these Terms, you can contact us at lioraclothingfr@gmail.com.

Accounts & Eligibility

By using this Service, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your country or region of residence. You may create an account with an email and password, or sign in with Google. Either way, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account — let us know right away if you suspect unauthorized access. Once you place an order while logged in, we save your name, phone number and shipping address to your account so future checkouts can be pre-filled.

Products, Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed and charged in Euros (EUR). Liora currently benefits from the French VAT exemption scheme for micro-entrepreneurs (franchise en base de TVA), so VAT is not charged, in accordance with Article 293 B of the French General Tax Code (Code général des impôts). Other currencies shown are approximate conversions, calculated from published exchange-rate data for reference only — your card issuer's own exchange rate applies to the actual charge. Payment is processed securely through Stripe's own checkout page, and an order is only confirmed, and a contract of sale only formed, once payment has been successfully authorized and you receive an order confirmation.

We verify pricing and stock server-side at the moment of purchase, independent of anything shown in your browser. If an item sells out between browsing and checkout, or was listed at an obviously erroneous price, we'll notify you and cancel or refund the affected amount before dispatch.

Shipping

Shipping rates are calculated at checkout via our partner Shippo and its carrier network (e.g. Colissimo, Chronopost, or another carrier Shippo books with), based on the address you provide — which you may enter manually or select from address suggestions provided by OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service. Delivery times are estimates and may vary by destination and carrier. For international orders, you're responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by your country — see our Shipping Policy for details.

Right of Withdrawal

If you are a consumer ordering from within the European Union, you have a legal right to withdraw from your purchase without giving any reason, in accordance with EU consumer protection law. This right runs from the moment you place your order until 14 days after you receive it, so you may cancel at any point in that window, including before your item ships or before it enters production — our made-to-order production model does not remove this right. To exercise this right, contact us at lioraclothingfr@gmail.com before the deadline expires. This right is exercised through the process described in our Return Policy, including any conditions on the condition of returned items and who bears the cost of return shipping.

Returns & Exchanges

Outside of the statutory withdrawal right above, returns and exchanges are handled according to our Return Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Reviews & User Content

If you submit a product rating or written review, you confirm it reflects your own genuine experience, and you grant us the right to display your display name, star rating and comment publicly on the relevant product page. We may remove any review that is abusive, unlawful, or unrelated to the product. You (or, at our discretion, an administrator) may delete your own review at any time.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, product photography and design — is owned by or licensed to Liora and protected by intellectual property law. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or create derivative works from it without our prior written consent.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose, attempt to interfere with or compromise the security of our systems (including checkout, authentication, or our rate-limiting protections), submit false or misleading reviews, or scrape, resell, or misuse content or pricing from the Site.

Liability & Force Majeure

We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and to the fullest extent permitted by law are not liable for indirect or consequential damages from your use of it. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, such as liability for fraud or death or personal injury caused by negligence. We are not responsible for delay or failure to perform our obligations where caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including carrier disruptions, strikes, or acts of government.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights you have under the laws of your own country of residence. Any dispute not resolved amicably will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules give you the right to bring proceedings in your own country of residence. If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect, and these Terms (together with our Privacy Policy, Return Policy and Shipping Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and Liora regarding your use of the Service. Updated Terms apply to orders placed after the update date and do not retroactively change the terms that applied to an order you already placed.

In accordance with the Code de la consommation provisions on consumer dispute mediation, after contacting us and if our response does not resolve your complaint to your satisfaction, you may use a free consumer mediation procedure with:
